A handwoven yoga mat inspired by Ayurvedic textile traditions.
Designed for practitioners who appreciate natural materials, textured grip, and a foldable mat for home or travel.
The Auramat Pitta Ayurvedic Yoga Mat features a handwoven organic cotton and jute surface with a natural rubber backing for traction. The fabric is dyed using a traditional Ayurvastra herbal process that includes neem, tulsi, turmeric, and indigo.
Its woven texture offers natural grip without printed alignment markings, while the lightweight construction makes it easy to fold, carry, and store. Because each mat is handwoven, slight variations in texture and thickness are part of its character.
Machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle for simple care.

An Auramat to Balance Every Dosha
Meet Yogi Gabriel
A Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Counselor, and founder of Auramat. His journey began from a hospital bed, where chronic illness led him to discover the healing power of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Inspired to transform the way we practice, he turned his attention to what lies beneath our feet, creating the first Ayurvedic yoga mat made from herb-infused, chemical-free cotton.
Today, Gabriel works with traditional Indian artisans to preserve this ancient textile wisdom, offering mats that honor both your body and your energy.
