This Mala was knotted while I listened to a podcast describing the Nirvanashatkam or The Six Stanzas on Nirvana by Shankaracharya. Translated, this poem goes through a series of "I am not this, nor that" statements, followed by arguably the most important verse, a reminder that One is Shiva; Existence absolute, Knowledge absolute, Bliss absolute. This last stanza of the poem describes Consciousness.
